Enrollment
For now, you guys just make your characters and for position, put whatever it is you're wanting. (This offer only goes until the positions become filled, then you'll have to start from the bottom and work your way up)
If your character is already made, and you wish to enroll them in the Saiyan Military, we will be making threads periodically for "tryouts" n' junk. And all you gotta' do is RP your charrie trying out and you're in. ^^ 'Coarse, you're starting from the bottom that way too, unless your PL and fighting skills are out of this world, but the journey's the fun right?
Promotions
To get your character promoted, they have to learn all the required skills to move to the next leve (AKA, your Power Level has to be at a certain notch, to make it simple. And you have to know a certain amount of techniques).
Once that's overwith, you and whoever RPs your charrie's overseer talk, and then zwalah! Movin' up!
Advantages and Disadvantages
Special forces -
A: Rank just below Frieza and his assistance (Zarbon and Dodoria), get to boss everyone else around, are extremely powerful and respected.
DA: Pff, is there really ANY disadvantage to that? It might be hard to work under cover since you'd be so famous and all, and you might have a few assasians after your butt...but other than that, the Special Forces is where it's at!
Super Elites -
A: Feared, powerful and extremely skilled. A super elite is what every lil' warrior dreams of becoming. They rank below loyalty, and don't have anyone to fear other than the Special Forces and Frieza himself. They do what they want, when they want, and how they want.
DA: Disadvantages of being a Super Elite? Well, if you actually made it this far, anything that could be considered a disadvantage, wouldn't be a disadvantage for you. You have to want this.
Elites -
A: Ahh, the elites. Big bad dogs of the army. By now, everybody knows your name and probably tremble a little at it's sound. Your word is law (except for the few that's over you of coarse) and you do as you please.
DA: Are rarely on the planet and are often used by Frieza for very dangerous tasks, and have to REALLY know how to linger with Frieza's men.
1st Class // Corporals -
A: These guys are put in charge of units of men for a specific purpose. Are much more respected and invited into more formal and official things. Have cooler missions, etc.
DA: Trying to get the 3rd class to actually do something useful is hard work somtimes.
2nd Class // Leutenants -
A: Get to go on cooler missions, they start putting you in charge of things, you work with elites on occasion and are involved with with more important things.
DA: You MUST be responsible and show great effort in all that you do, or else it's harder to get promoted and you won't reap the benifits of being 2nd class.
3rd Class // Privates -
A: The folks in third class, by far, have the most fun. They're not grunts anymore, but they're not nessisarily in the lines of having to be completely serious and deticated to uphold their public image yet either because practically NO ONE ever pays special attention to them. Parties are often, laughs and pranksters are the norm. And horah for not being a grunt!
DA: They're always the butt of everyone's joke, and that's not a good thing. They're almost as despensible as grunts, not allowed to speak to Special Forces, Elites, or Royalty unless first spoken to or in case of emergency only (or if you're closely assosiated with them, but we're talking protocall). And are never allowed to make eye-contact with them, or it's considered a challenge and is grounds for a beating.
Grunts -
A: Heh...well...you're in the army!
DA: The 3rd class people are overly-happy they're not at the bottom anymore and they continuously celebrate by making your life miserable. Everyone else seems to enjoy doing the same. If there's ever a particularly stupid, nasty, boring, or uncomfortably dangerous task, guess what? That's YOUR job! So if you're a grunt, and you somehow make it to promotion with your life, sanity, and all your limbs, you're one LUCKY son of a you-know-what.
Biddies -
A: Your little, you're excited, you're full of life, and you're ready to go take on the universe! If you play a biddie you're gonna' have fun, and that's just all there is to it.
DA: Biddies tend to have a bit (a lot) of shell-shock somewhere in the transition from Mamma's happy little arms to a no-nonesense training program that...sadly...nearly half the children do not survive. And another very sad point is...biddies are despensible. Especially the crop whos' mothers are slaves. They're considered...well....cannon fodder. They're thought less as "beautiful children" and more as "useful tools" in the military's eyes until they grow older and move up in ranks. For biddies, the enrollment class is nearly as (sometimes more than) grunts, but the promotion class is barely a fifth.
